Je***** To**** built a 2M+ TikTok following sharing smoothie recipes. Her audience constantly asked what products she used, presenting an obvious opportunity—but existing superfood powders were brown, clumpy, and looked terrible on camera.
The founder needed products optimized for social content: vibrant colors, smooth mixability, and photogenic presentations that would pop in video. But she also needed products that actually worked—no one survives on social media selling products that don't deliver.
The challenge was balancing visual appeal with nutritional efficacy and clean ingredients that aligned with her wellness-focused audience.
Build Your Own Brand created a custom superfood line optimized for social virality. We sourced naturally vibrant ingredients—blue spirulina for azure hues, pitaya for hot pink, butterfly pea flower for color-changing effects—that looked stunning on camera without artificial colors.
Our formulation team developed proprietary blending processes that eliminated clumping and created smooth, foam-free mixing perfect for 15-second video demonstrations. Each powder was formulated for both visual appeal AND nutritional density.
We designed packaging with removable inner labels so products photographed beautifully, and created QR codes linking to recipe videos for added content value.
The brand launched with a single TikTok video that garnered 12M views in 48 hours. The launch batch sold out in 3 hours. User-generated content using the brand's products has now accumulated over 340M views across platforms.
First-year revenue reached $2.9M with 94% coming from social commerce. The brand was featured in major wellness publications and received the "Most Innovative Supplement" award at Expo West 2026.
The brand now has 3 product lines and is the #1 tagged superfood brand on TikTok.
